After more than forty years serving the village as a much-loved haberdashery, this central shop on The Broadway finally fell vacant. Once cleared, the unit was taken right back to its bare structure before being carefully restored by our Maintenance Team. Original details were preserved where possible and the space was thoughtfully rebuilt to create a bright, welcoming shop ready for a new chapter.
We are delighted to now welcome Fable & Bloom, founded by local resident Rose Carr, who opened the doors in September. Rose brings a creative blend of floristry and handpicked gifts, offering fresh flowers, seasonal arrangements and a selection of thoughtfully sourced items for the home. Her shop has already added charm and colour to the heart of the village.
We wish Rose every success with her new venture at 1 The Broadway and look forward to seeing Fable & Bloom flourish as part of the Balcombe community.
